LOPDC History
Founding the Organization
After careful planning and consideration, we began serving our community on October 19,2019 out of a single shipping container. We later grew into two shipping containers and later a small building. We are not finished by any means. We have big dreams and plans for our community!
The four adults in this photo along with our many children founded this organization and built it from nothing to where it is today.
We didn't do it alone by any means - we had ALOT of help!

Expansion and Growth
Although still small, we have made some friends with important organizations such as The East Texas Food Bank and have grown significantly as a result.
Addressing Food Insecurity
At LOPDC, we are committed to addressing the root causes of hunger and poverty in our community. Not only are we providing food to families, we are looking for ways to lift each of them up!
