About LOPDC
Built locally. Serving regionally.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit fighting hunger through food assistance, rescue, community outreach, and partnership.
Our beginning
A simple start became a much larger mission.
After planning and preparation, Lake O’ The Pines Dream Center began serving the community on October 19, 2019 from a single shipping container.
The organization grew through volunteer labor, local giving, equipment, cold storage, transportation, and a network of regional and national partnerships.
Our mission: We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to fight hunger in our community one meal at a time!

Leadership
People committed to the mission.
LOPDC is guided by local leaders who volunteer their judgment, time, and experience to keep the organization accountable and focused on community service.
Accountability & Transparency
Financial stewardship, shared clearly.
Our 2025 Financial Report presents management-prepared, cash-basis results and supplemental information about the resources that support our food rescue and distribution work.
